NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Following more than a week of protests over the death of George Floyd in police custody in Minnesota, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Sunday a series of police reforms in New York City.

The reforms come at the suggestion of the mayor’s task force on racial inclusion, which is co-chaired by first lady Chirlane McCray.

De Blasio said the city will be moving funding from the NYPD to youth initiatives and social services.

“The details will be worked out in the budget process in the weeks ahead. But I want people to understand that we are committed to shifting resources to ensure that the focus is on our young people,” de Blasio said.

The mayor said that any decision about funding must also ensure the safety of New Yorkers.

Old DeCommie had better put aside a large of money to bury black victims of black criminals, as well as for rebuilding their businesses. NOT!

The duo were using the Clinton Playbook-——he got in as Mayor——next step presidency for him as she got into the US Senate.....then her turn as president.

Unfortunately, it did not work out the way they planned......snx.

He bombed as a prez candidate-——and she’s been playing hanky panky w/ hundreds of millions of tax dollars on all the “do-good” city committees hubby put her in charge of....w/ no oversight.

Well, they DO need tons of money for their high-falutin’ ambitions.

BACKSTORY-——he was parading her around the city as he conducted his official duties.

Then Police Commissioner Braxton advised him not to bring her along to a critical cops’ meeting.

The DeB’s were highly insulted.....they could do anything they wanted....and summarily fired the P/C.

Its been downhill ever since......and now this......brought down by BLM.

The two met while both worked for the Dinkins campaign. She says she had a nose ring and wore African garb when he spotted her and was completely smitten. She never told him she was a lesbian. And later said after their marriage she was still attracted to women. During the mayoral campaign, she was asked about her lesbian lifestyle----she retorted she "didn't understand the question." The Blobbio's honeymooned in Communist Cuba and picked coffee beans w/ Sandinistas (then America's arch-enemies).

The New York Post ran a cartoon depicting the couple in bed, McCray on the phone telling someone, "I used to be a lesbian, but my husband, Bill de Blasio, won me over," while her husband lay beside her clad in sexy lingerie.
