Isn’t the right to enjoy and exploit your property also a “civil right”? I know the socialists don’t agree to that, but how can you expect me to have sympathy for your grievances if you don’t have respect for the property rights of individuals who had absolutely NOTHING to do with the event that sparked the wave of protests. If you are destroying property BECAUSE it is owned by a white person, then you have lost any moral high ground here. The store owners are innocent. George Floyd was committing a crime, which brought him into contact with the police.

Yes. Read about Lockean Rights. It is a primary basis of the Declaration of Independence and a cornerstone of American rights.
