One thing we might note:
They don’t mean Black Lives Matter.
They mean ONLY Black Lives Matter.
That’s why when Ellen DeGeneres recently stated support for people taking the anti-police stance she said “persons of color.” she was attacked.
“Not persons of color, black people. The others are not part of this.” “Only blacks are being targeted by the police atrocities, not all persons of color.”
If anyone ever asks me if “Black lives matter” I am going to ask them if ALL black lives matter. Checking about Clarence Thomas would probably get the strongest response. Hopefully I will never be around anyone who asks me that question.
It’s not even that - it is only certain lives at any given time to push a narrative. Hence why the black lives lost in the riots don’t matter - and the black lives destroyed by the riots don’t matter...they don’t fit the narrative.
