I don’t care if he was a saint or a sinner. What happened to him was wrong. You don’t have to be a saint or even a pretty good person to possess your inalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
If only he had peacefully got into the back of the police car he would still be alive today.
And you obviously don’t mind that he has been portrayed as a “saint”. What would be going on now if the cop had shot him? How or why did it become such a cause celebre? You’re not even going to ask yourself WHY are there riots in every state in the nation over this? Memorials in various parts of the country - transporting the body around the country like he was a former president. Who and what is behind this to make it more than it already was? It doesn’t matter to you that cities and lives and businesses are being destroyed because there is an agenda at play here? One that will never be rectified regardless of all the rhetoric we’ll hear in the coming months. Oh! Yes - it will last until November for sure - that’s part of the agenda! There are some of us who still believe that ALL LIVES MATTER - no matter the color!
Fair enough. But to "honor" him is a tragedy. He was a piece of filth. He is not to be honored with anything more than "sorry George" for the premature loss of your life. He probably would have been a statistic before long, but he was taken prematurely. That's it.
