Hard to tell what that is on top. I was looking at the Raytheon site a couple days ago and I couldn’t find the active denial system anywhere.
It’s a CROWS mount. It’s a remote operated gun turret that can hold most of our standard crew served and squad automatic weapons from 5.56mm to .50 cal. Without the gun and optics mounted, it is worthless. With a MK-19 Automatic Grenade launcher mounted, and less lethal 40mm rounds, a few HUMVEES could probably put a hurt on rioters quickly.
