I don't believe CPUSA has put up its own presidential candidate since the late 1980s. They no longer need to, since they seem to have taken over as the "steering committee" of the Democrats. Hell, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that some of the Uniparty GOPe crowd is similarly directed.
