Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall

"Let me be clear, I am not here to make people happy. My job and our job in law enforcement is to keep this city safe. We have pledged that. We will do that. And that is our goal."

What are “at-large” arrest charges? Is that constitutional?

Holy cow. A real police chief? She’s awesome. (Well at least in this incident)

"There are many who question and are not happy with the decisions that I made on yesterday," she said. "Let me be clear, I am not here to make people happy. My job and our job in law enforcement is to keep this city safe. We have pledged that. We will do that. And that is our goal."

Thank you Chief Hall!

Now put them in an outdoor stockade while processing them (very slowly).

I’d be interested to know how much the fines are. The big cities are passing up a huge opportunity to pay for the damage done to their cruisers.

She has since dropped all charges. She’s a super liberal squish.

Wow, a real cop. 3...2...1 the MSM denigrates her, even though being black.

At least they had to stay on the bridge in Flexicuffs for several hours after they had given their information. These snowflakes really do not believe that the law applies to them.

From what I understand, they were arrested, but the local news said last night that Dallas had decided not to file charges against the people arrested on the bridge.

"Hall said Thursday, the decision to not file charges was made after consulting with City Manager T.C. Broadnax and other city leaders as well as police department leadership."

I don't think she is the decision maker on pressing charges.

So do they get released tomorrow with no charges and a free gas can, or tonight?

Pathetic Chief Hall changed her mind after meeting with “city leaders”. Who are a gaggle of leftist activists and race baiters.

I think they were detained with zip ties and given citations. Then let go to continue the mayhem. Now, they are totally free to riot.
