University of Central Florida launches probe of professor who said 'white Americans are under siege' and black people would not experience systemic racism if they 'behaved liked Asian Americans'

A professor from the University of Central Florida is under investigation after he claimed 'white Americans and white culture were under siege' while making several racist stereotypes about black people in the country. The announcement from UCF came just a day after the associate psychology professor, Charles Negy, took to Twitter to offer his comments surrounding the mythological 'black privilege.' He said in a Wednesday tweet: 'If African Americans as a group, had the same behavioral profile as Asian Americans (on average, performing the best academically, having the highest income, committing the lowest crime, etc.), would we still be proclaiming 'systematic racism' exists?'

It got frozen after Rush Limbaugh promoted a county-by-county election map in the close 2000 election. His website displayed a map of the country showing a sea of red surrounding small rivulets of blue. He did it to indicate how Al Gore’s vote was concentrated in only a few small areas of the country.

Rush’s map took off on the Internet as a meme (one of the early ones). It had popularized the red state vs blue state dichotomy so strongly that it effectively became permanent.

Historically, the left had used the color red. It was because red symbolized vitality, action, life, and change. Red is dynamic. Blue was a pejorative that the left had traditionally used to demonize the right: staid, conservative, reactionary, weak, and the establishment (’blue bloods’).

What Rush did was a stroke of genius, IMHO.

American universities are organizationally designed for political control, not academic freedom. If you change the leadership of the institution, the problem would persist.

The truth hurts...the professor looks part Asian.

According to the article:

The professor, author of ‘White Shaming: Bullying based on Prejudice, Virtue-Signaling, and Ignorance’ said in follow up tweets: ‘Black privilege is real: Besides affirm. action, special scholarships and other set asides, being shielded from legitimate criticism is a privilege. But as a group, They’re missing out on much needed feedback’

I think he needs to be sent to the re-education camp! (sarc)
