That’s what they tell you to do in many cases where there is no obvious traumatic injury, like copius bleeding. Let the emts deal with it, don’t break someone’s spine or even a limb making them more comfortable or getting them out of a not at risk vehicle. Chauvin obviously a different situation. But I doubt any of the three thought he was trying to kill him. I’m not sure of that either though he had information to know something was wrong. He felt when the resistance ended.
