The simple fact is that George Floyd was not a martyr or hero, but an involuntary victim of police misconduct. Nor was his case a typical example of everyday police behavior, but a one-in-three-million anomaly.
When Trump ran for president, someone in the media, or some group, said we are now living in the "post-truth" era, citing Trump's penchant for shoot-from-the-hip rhetoric which often misstates or exaggerates facts, or is imprecise or over-generalized.
Setting aside the fact that deconstructionism - which de-emphasizes the idea of objective truth in favor of a view in which truth is simply a matter of power relationships and self-interest - is now the primary intellectual model of the LEFT, the mainstream media repeatedly and almost unanimously present a wildly inaccurate depiction of events, especially events that directly or indirectly involve Donald Trump.
Advancing a political and social narrative has replaced the search for truth, and pesky facts are either ignored or shouted-down and censored. Candace Owens' simple statements of fact are among those views that will be shouted-down.

... an involuntary victim of police misconduct.

This has been mob driven from day 1. The “misconduct,” and Floyd’s victim credentials, may not look the same when the facts catch-up with the mob.
