Reyna Montoyas hands get sweaty and her throat feels like its closing just talking about the anxiety of every Monday this spring.
The immigrant rights activist whos shielded from deportation and allowed to legally work in the U.S. under an Obama-era program sets a 6 a.m. alarm so shes alert when the latest Supreme Court decision may be posted online about an hour later.
Montoya, like 650,000 others enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, is waiting for the justices to release their decision on President Donald Trumps attempt to end the protections. The high court heard arguments last fall and typically releases rulings on Mondays in the spring. But its unclear exactly when an answer will come because the court sometimes issues decisions on other days as work wraps up for the summer...

Among the cases yet to be decided is DACA. The Court will likely say that the President has the power to end it
Why do people keep calling them “immigrants”?
If they don’t get what they want, they’ll riot. There won’t be anything left of the cities. I’m realizing that that wouldn’t be so bad.
Nothing on the Indian H4EAD trash that Obama let in illegally either...
They should start planning their departures from the US.
President Trump offered Dems an immigration deal, that would have let the DACA (”Dreamers”) stay, in exchange for a
merit-based immigration system, and the border wall.
Dems had the chance to save these folks from being deported, and refused.
President Trump can say he tried.
DACA was never legal.
But then again neither was the man who invented it.
And Roberts swore him in so hold onto to your hats.
The 9 justices might be feeling a bit intimidated lately. They just might let DACA stay in place.
None of them want to have protesters and rioters on their front lawns. Fear is a very powerful thing.
DACA is not federal law
if SCOTUS upholds DACA, then presidential executive orders cannot be rescinded by successive presidents and some may the courts
what a precedent
Oh no! Better let them come out of the shadows! Otherwise they won’t cooperate with law enforcement!!
It’s Dead , bury it
They don’t have much to worry about.
The silver lining to COVID is that nearly every restuarant in the country has been closed for nearly three months. This is the huge portion of the illegal workforce. While they still get EBT, LIHEAP, SNAP, rent assistance, etc. They’re still struggling to make ends meet.
Hopefully, this will flush a few million back south of the border.
DACA was never a executive order. Just policy. The Trump admin didn’t do a great job on defending their case, they seemed to use the worst ideas. I will not be shocked if the judges rule in favor of the insurgents.

Gavin and the Dems gave illegals cash. A few left but there are a lot of people here doing residential work.
Roberts is going to b***f*** America again.
Just watch.
L
Try and keep they are un-papered citizens now.
Residential construction has slowed down a lot. Commercial OK and new roads as well.
