Nobody wants to be seen as being supportive of POTUS on hot button issues because that is a swamp career ender. They view him as a short timer and think The Swamp is forever.
If that was true why do they fight him so hard? Wouldn't the logical thing be to attempt to make him look silly and ignore his actions?
