It’s my understanding that then troops were on standby and were never deployed. They were sent back when the threat was considered to be over. Of course, the haters will create a narrative around this to attack Trump.

They don’t. Piers Morgan, a Never-Trumper who really, really hates deplorables, is editor at the Daily Mail. To say he shades the truth would be an understatement. The soldiers are being sent back because the rioting and arson have gone down substantially. Trump’s threat to send troops worked. The state and local officials have substantially stepped up enforcement.
