I guess EVERY funeral in Minnesota is the Wellstone Memorial

No, not so. My mother-in-law passed away last Tuesday. We had not been able to see her for Easter, Mother's Day, .... She died at her daughter's home among her loved ones. We had a small graveside ceremony. She wasn't important enough for a full on Wellstone Memorial.

Her life was never as exciting as that of George Floyd. She never held anyone up, never served a prison sentence, never used drugs, ..... She just worshipped God, honored Him in her life as a surgical nurse and left quietly, after having arranged and paid for her funeral several months ago. She was quiet and dignified. She didn't get much comfort in her last months owing to the Corona crap, but she died well. And last Saturday, a bright, sunny yet cool day, we laid her to rest in a quiet cemetery. It wasn't the funeral she'd wanted, but it was beautiful and we honored her with due decorum.
