Civil rights activist Al Sharpton attacked President Donald Trump and vowed not to let those with agendas use George Floyd as prop during his powerful eulogy for the man who was anonymous in life but sparked global protests for justice in death.
Hollywood celebrities, musicians and the politically powerful filed into a sanctuary in front of the golden casket of Floyd for a memorial service on Thursday as mourners began a three-city farewell.
The service unfolded at the Lindquist Sanctuary at the North Central University as a judge less than a mile away set bail at $750,000 each for three of the four fired Minneapolis police officers charged with aiding and abetting murder in his death.
The memorial drew the Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sen. Amy Klobuchar and members of Congress, including Reps. Ilhan Omar, Sheila Jackson-Lee and Ayana Pressley. Among the celebrities in attendance were T.I., Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Kevin Hart, Tiffany Haddish and Marsai Martin.

I'm not sure that even needs to be said, after all who is in favor of what happened?
Oh, yeah, now that I think about it, maybe Black Lives Matter is in favor.
They certainly have profited from it
The rioters attitude is that the cop isn't responsible for his death, but that Trump voters are responsible for his death. Of course, that's despite the fact that this took place in a Democrat-run City, in a Democrat-run State.
Going to take a while to get this one in the ground.

Services honoring George Floyd, who died while being arrested in Minneapolis, will take place in three states over the course of six days.
A memorial service will be held in Minneapolis on Thursday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., family attorney Benjamin Crump said.
The Rev. Al Sharpton will deliver a eulogy at the memorial, which will take place at the Frank J. Lindquist Sanctuary at North Central University.
A public viewing and a private memorial service will be held in Raeford, North Carolina, on Saturday, Hubert Peterkin, the sheriff of Hoke County, said on Facebook.
The public viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cape Fear Conference B Headquarters, followed by a private service for just the family at 3 p.m., Peterkin said
Next Monday, a public memorial will take place from noon to 6 p.m. at The Fountain of Praise Church at 13950 Hillcroft Ave. in Houston, the Fort Bend Memorial Planning Center said in a statement.
And on Tuesday, a private service will be held at an undisclosed location, the statement said.
Bonfire of the Vanities is on my re-reading list. Never saw the movie, hopefully it lives up to the book.
If you're going to Virtue Signal, might as well go all out.
Very good question.
#5. Jesse Jackson is asking “Check his wallet” while One Glove Sharpton is pretending to be a proctologist. Why not? He’s screwed America, esp. black Americans, for nearly 50 years and got rich and away doing it.
This should have been a reverent funeral viewing, not, as one Freeper wrote, a “Freakshow”, but that’s how these publicity-seeking clowns are.
“I cant stop laughing at this circus of fake outrage, drama and staged grief for a nobody being use as a political prop to bring down America and Trump at all costs.”
Hear, hear!
What a girl.
Projection much?
Canonizing a criminal thug & currency counterfeiter who is getting a de facto state funeral. We are reaching the nadir of our American society.
Follow the Money, who paid for this Gold Casket and Funeral????
Biden said he was going to funeral in Houston, Tex, did they have one there?
