Didnt McMichael piss on the body too....coming in 3...2...1....
Federal charges.
In fact, one could say that he is singing like a canary. To any that will listen.Whether true of not, he is about to reveal all sort of things previously unknown about the McMichales. I don’t think that the record reflects that Travis approached the body after the shooting. The record show that the father turned him over and searched for a weapon. Roddy is trying to talk his way out of going to prison and will start pulling all types of stories out of his ass. With a friend like Roddy, you hope you have a dozen enemies to counteract his “friendship”.
So he shot him because he is black, huh? You know, you do not have to wait 30-50 some odd years (The ages of the defendants) to find a black person to shoot in Georgia. Clearly, there is something else going on here.
Wasn’t he the one recording the incident so wouldn’t his slur be caught on tape?
Why did the Agent testify that it was a pump action shotgun is my question. I understand I need to ask the agent. But from Barnhillâs âletterâ the implication was and I assumed that it was a semi auto shotgun. Why the discrepancy? Was it ignorance or perjury? Since Law Enforcement Officers can be presumed to at least have a working knowledge of firearms, that seems to rule ignorance out. Or it could have been a pump action shotgun. If that is true, it is hard for me to visualize him working the action while struggling with the victim. Not saying it can’t be done but it is hard for me to visualize it, knowing the steps and effort required to do it.
And you can bet that Roddy will toe the company line. i.e.say what the State tells him to say. facts and truth be damned. After he states his mane all other words will be perjury.
Mark on you calendar for the verdict date and stay out of downtown Atlanta.
“And you can bet that Roddy will toe the company line. i.e.say what the State tells him to say. facts and truth be damned. After he states his mane all other words will be perjury.”
Travis has the right to take the stand at his own trial and refute what Roddy says.
You mean the edited video released by one of the men eventually arrested?
There's more to this story than that.
Is that why the rioters are burning buildings and stealing things?
That he does. Will his Lawyer recommend that to him is the question. The question his Lawyer has to consider is ,”Will Travis hurt his case more by testifying or remaining silent?” Of course Travis will have the final say whether he testifies or not. The lawyer can only make recommendations. And the Jury may see Roddy for the lying rat he is while he is testifying. I saw through him when he was doing the interviews on the t.v. news clips.
It is just odd that he was able to hear this, when his phone video doesn’t have it.
“Of course Travis will have the final say whether he testifies or not.”
Travis under cross-examination would be very interesting.
What video did you watch? The one I saw had Travis McMichael standing 2-3 feet to the left of the driver side door. You can’t tell whether he was beside the door or standing several feet further back near the front edge of the truck But his position from the side of the truck is clear.
Arbery runs around the right side of the truck.
The video pans off and back onto the scene.
I’m sure the state will get technical experts to clear the video up as much as possible to ascertain that fact more clearly. When it comes back, Travis McMichael is standing approximately in front of the left headlight. There is ZERO doubt that McMichael moved from his position to the left of the truck toward the front off the truck and too the right, toward Arbery.
We don’t know exactly how far he got. Don’t make out like McMichael was standing still and Arbery ran all the way around the truck and attacked him while he was just standing there. Arbery obviously made a 90 degree turn to the left. Why? Big question.
- We have not heard any audio as to anything Travis McMichael may or may not have said. We have heard his dad on the phone in the back of the truck.
- We don’t know exactly how far Travis McMichael moved. we know he DID move to the right toward Arbery.
- We don’t know exactly in what position relative to the truck that the first physical contact occurred. We know approximately, not exactly.
- We have not seen nor heard any more of the video that Bryan took. Supposedly there is more.
The story is not well written. The context of the “finally got out and shot Arbery” is the revelation that they made multiple attempts to box Arbery in with their vehicles.
Unless there is video/audio evidence of the racial slur, it is pretty much nothing. It is clear Bryan is trying to cast the blame off of himself onto McMichaels.
Depends on if he was recording when he pulled on up to the scene and got out.
I haven’t thought of that, but I believe that you are right.
“Besides, the young black man wasnt boxed in.”
Taking the word of the investigators at face value, they have indicated that multiple attempts were made by 2 men in pickup trucks to box in a man running on foot.
Now, to LITERALLY box him in they would have to have at least 3 truck to form a triangle, with each end of the vehicles touching.
“Boxing him in” meant cutting off his running path to attempt to make him stop running. That is HARD to do with a vehicle and no wall or fence to cut off all escape.
I won’t get into the problems both drivers face for Assault with a vehicle (IF, big IF, they are not found to have legal right for a citizens arrest).
If you are looking at the other side of the equation, one person running from two vehicles and dodging attempts to cut him off from his running path would quickly accelerate the adrenaline/fatigue/time equation. That would have to factor into Arbery’s decision to confront McMichaels in front of the truck.
You can say that again.
Hey, Mac,
The video from Toddies perspective, continuous from
When Arbery comes into view, as Roddie approaches in his vehicle from behind, and as Arbery runs past the McMichael’s truck, turns hard left and charges up to and into Travis, who is clearly holding a shotgun at waist level, after which two men then struggle ,one (Arbery) trading blows to the other (who is still holding the shotgun at less than ready arms), and finally as they go off screen as shots are being discharged or fired, ending with Arbery having fallen off screen, apparently mortally wounded. That one. If there is more, and I expect there to be, then guessing and conjuring up facts not privy to the rest of the viewing public is disengenuous.
As a firearms and self defense trainer and practitioner, I can only comment on what is made Available. I don’t claim supernatural ability to see more than that.
As I have been saying for weeks, only a jury in court will have the entirety of the facts to make a fully informed judgement.
Kind regards
