I live in this county and am betting the real reason is that they couldn't get more than a dozen people to show up. So they have to make some high sounding excuse instead.

On Tuesday, 18,238 voters turned up to vote for ALL Democrat presidential candidates combined (only 65.6% of those did as they were told and voted for Slow Joe) versus 28,623 who voted for Donald J. Trump.
