I have never known a farm house to be bereft of varmint rifles. I have never seen a belt fed varmint rifle, but we can hope...

(Shouldn't "palindrome" read the same forward and backward?)

I have never seen a belt fed varmint rifle, but we can hope... Do what the progs do, change the definition of the word (varmint) and presto, lots of things become "belt fed varmint rifle."

Yes, but in more modern times, the farm kids (and they have some money) will get their AR, and shoot and modify it.
(Hot rodding cars is declining for the ordinary kid, due to these computers on wheels, in my opinion. So they hot rod their AR(s)).
Belt fed for varmints. Depends on the type of varmint.

There's the Requa-Billinghurst Battery Gun that was used for a while during the Civil War. I don't think it's belt-fed though. It was the precursor of the machine gun. They used to have one at the Smithsonian on display. Maybe President Trump will let these folks borrow it. If memory serves me two guys from Rochester, New York, one who was a dentist I think designed, and built it. Never heard of it until I ran across it during my Civil War research days.

Won’t need one. Drop a few with well-placed shots and the rest will unass the area.
