” . . . watching their homes get burned and livestock get killed.”
So the folks in Sparta deal in livestock? Can we assume then they have experience in castrating critters by hand? Specifically inconvenient, uninvited out-of-town critters?
I would think so. My grandfather and uncle farmed not far out of town. There is a lot of acreage in corn and soy beans, but farmers also usually raise cattle and pigs. And they hunt. Thanksgiving gatherings always include much discussion about deer hunting.
I hope beyond hope that this doesn’t happen. But if it does, I hope none of the Antifa sonsofbitches come out alive. Not one.
Lot of German farmers in Southern Illinois have a few hogs for personal use and great sausage recipes. Just sayin.’
I am a girlie girl, but even I have helped my husband castrate lambs. My job was to hold their back legs apart. I am much older and have not done it since, but I think it is like riding a bicycle.
