I'd hate to see it go so far as to ruin, but I do think the best course is to make the people feel the effects of their voting choices.

That means making the people be the ones who demand their mayors and governors make the decisions they don't want to make, or are told not to make by their party.

If President Trump has a strategy, I'd hope it is a jiu-jitsu of the Democrat strategy towards him. Instead of Democrats trying to separate Trump from his base, Trump should be working to make the citizens of the rioting states, out of sheer frustration and fear, make their Democrat leaders go against the party agenda and stop the damage being caused in their states or be the subject of calls to resign or be put out as weak and incompetent.
