Turns out Mattis and Honoré are both big disappointments.

I met Honore during the GWOT at Camp Shelby just prior to going downrange. Affirmative-Action PC bomb-thrower if ever there was one. Everything was all about him and his legacy (sound familiar?)...

Is there any people left in the military ranks who are not a product of PC?

Recall the 2015/16 purge of the upper echelons? We veterans watched that on FR in real-time, and there was heavy commenting on it.

The upshot was that a very specific rank range and year-group were being targeted: the field commanders at the brigade/wing level, whose promotions to flag rank would depend on their political reliability (Soviet-style).

Five years later, where are those officers who survived the purge? Division and installation commanders.

None of this crap is spontaneous. This “Cronkite Moment” was probably planned down to the damn minute to cause maximum damage.
This feeds into the ever-evolving media narrative. First, Trump was said to be “hiding in the bunker”. Now, this horse’s ass comes out and denounces Trump as “a threat to the Constitution”.

Everything you say is as scary as it is plausible.
