Didn’t the whole “take a knee” thing come about as a way to avoid saluting the American flag and national anthem?

The kind of tough law enforcement officers you want coming to your side when you are bleeding have retired, been weeded out, or are in jail for posting a humorous tweet about 57 genders.
The culprits are the elected officials who hire the top law enforcement officers who don't like the laws enacted by legislators and who won't enforce laws they don't like.
The worst culprits of all are the voters who elect the officials above.
