The Hollywood movie The Mortal Storm (1940) depicts the rise of the Brownshirts and the cultural change in Germany that led to the rise of Hitler.

The movie will be shown on Turner Classic Movies on June 14, 2020 at 7:00am EDT. I'd recommend everyone to watch it and note the parallels to what's happening in America today with Antifa.

Speaking of old, prescient movies, “Keeper of the Flame” was a spot-on story about JFK that came out about 20 years before his presidency, and about 40 years before the truth really started to come out about him.
