If there was teargas used so Trump could walk done the street to a church... Then why wasn’t he being stricken with symptoms of teargas smoke?

The smoke that appeared in Lafayette Park on Monday to "clear the crowd" was smoke canisters and pepper balls -- per the DC Park Police.

The DC Park Police also reported that the crowd wasn't entirely "peaceful" either... Starting at 6:33 pm ET, "many" in the crowd were hurling items at the police, some were grabbing for the police officers' guns. The violence needed to be quelled.
