Me, too. Not a nerve problem and I would exacerbate it if I wore an in-ear device. It comes and goes with the weather (pressure & humidity). I don’t know sign.
I use a free android voice-to-text app when it’s really bad. Those conversations can be saved. Just a thought.
This is humiliation and discrimination. I think that might be a violation of the Civil Rights Act, in places that still adhere to law.

If they can sue a restaurant because the paper towel dispenser in the restroom is 2 inches too high or low, screaming in my damaged ears should be a slam dunk.
