Good question. Holding off 100 enemy that are hardy and well disciplined is basically impossible. From what I have seen these antifa types are neither. Would others help? I would like to think some would. Lastly to stay in one position, once compromised (fire in your scenario) is suicide. Movement in a firefight is critical.

Most of us that grew up in the country are fairly handy with any firearm,, especially rifles and shotguns. We are hunters, everyone I grew up with hunted and fished. This not only means we are hearty and self reliant, but that we know how to lead a target. I get the feeling, even if these antifa types had decent hardware, they’re lack of practical use with said hardware would be their demise

Btw, love the backhoe reference. I grew up in logging country, not many backhoes, but more than enough heavy equipment to dig a hole haha.

Actually, the DC suburbs across the Potomac from DC would be easy pickings for the mobs. While there are a few conservatives, most of the residents are bluer than a Wuflu patient on a ventilator. And they’re relatively rich.

Personally, I would enjoy it a little if those people in Alexandria, Arlington, and eastern Fairfax got some social justice.

I would bet money that Brennen is the man..

The planning involved in the riots is far beyond the skills of the trash we see on TV.

The remark has been made that this is what we see in third world countries, not in America. So ask yourself who has been working in secret in those unstable countries to cause their collapse?

Just the other day when the topic of how unfortunate the violence is, Brennen made the statement that the violence was good and necessary to bring about change.

I don't have the exact quote before me, but that is the essence of his remark.

He is a communist.

He is reputedly a Muslim.

Much of the organization of this uprising had to be planned and financed in great secrecy....Who would be better able to do that than a CIA agent, either active or retired and more than likely some of both?

And finally, who of us thinks the only criminal agents in Washington are in the FBI?

He hates the president and was obviously involved in the attempt to overthrow the president and by doing so, the government we elected.

There are many more reasons, too many to list.

We have been told that indictments are coming down very soon and much of this will be exposed at that time.

I got my first rifle at age 8. Still have it. Been a hunter all my life. I an lead a dove in a 30 mph wind and hit it.

Got NRA training at summer camp. Learned how to shoot from old timers in the 70’s. Got real good training in the USMC.

Taught my wife and kids how to safely fire long guns and hand guns.

Most of my neighbors are either veterans or are experienced hunters.

If the bad guys decide to target our area, they will have a very bad day.

20 locals, armed and ready, showed up to protect the businesses in a small suburban downtown area in the suburbs of Seattle yesterday.

What would have happened if in the Revolutionary War or WWII the soldiers would not shoot at the enemy because he might shoot back?

My brother and I were at my dad’s helping him build a 3 foot tall chain link fence to keep the neighbor’s dog out of his front yard. The dumbass neighbor came out of his house and yelled to my dad, “Hey John, what are you building?”

My dad yelled back, “ a fence to keep your damn dogs out of my yard!”

They guy yelled back, “my dogs can jump that fence!”

My dad yelled back, “they may jump in but they’ll never jump back out!”

The guy never let his dogs out to run the neighborhood after that.

I see the same thing happening here. These guys walk into peoples yards, they will be carried off in body bags...

I don’t think they will stick around after the first one goes down.

4 man fire teams. Build one.

100 or 200 rioters would be carved up like Thanksgiving using interlocking fields of fire. Easy peasy. You just have to know the other 3 guys well enough to know.

Yep they will have a very bad day. My first dove came 18 days before my 10th birthday (born Sep 19, season started on the first. Really supposed to be 10 but whats a few days lol)

As far as guns, my first was a red ryder bb gun, no idea how old I was.....very young though. I would carry that bird hunting with my dad and grandad until it was replaced with a .22 cal pellet gun. That I would carry until my first bird season. Somewhere around 7-8 I got my first rimfire .22. Shot that thing endlessly, first real hunting with that was varmit and grey squirrel shortly after dove and quail season.

I have hunted and fished every season of my entire life. My son is following the same path. He hunts tweety birds while I and his grandad hunt dove, quail, pheasant, ect. I love that we are able to do this. Hunting is such a great family adventure, as well as teaching responsibility and safety.

That is great news. I hope this spreads like wildfire.

If we allow this we really will not need the police or the national guard.

These soccer moms willingly disarmed their hubbies (don’t get me started on those eunuch husbands) and now they have the audacity to see about protection?

This whole situation could turn entire households into war-zones as well.

“Imho, Trump needs to unleash the citizenry, not the police and national guard.”

It’s interesting how Corporate America has already chosen a side and will hold a lot of suburbanite households hostage over this.

Defend yourself, your family, your property - get fired, lose career, and we’ll help the prosecution and clean up our employment rolls with “non-racists”.

I expect in the suburbs 3/4 of them will run away once the shooting starts. In rural areas 99 of them will start running away when the first one gets shot. Rural America gets very dark at night and the roads are narrow. We have the advantage by a large percentage.

Their operations would be a lot harder in suburbia. In the city they use a lot of spotters on foot and bikes for intel and managing their attacks. The spotters won’t be able to blend in like they can in an urban environment.

Unfortunately you are correct. That is why I say we need to unleash the citizenry. If citizens did not fear that which you describe, they would have this fire out inside a couple of days imho.
