Sounds like the type of union leader I despise. The kind that defend the worst POS simply because they are in the Union. Teacher unions are full of these guys.

But then teachers are very seldom gunned down at 2AM while “in unform”.Yes,this guy could just be another hack union boss.But it’s also possible that he knows more about this case than we do.
