James Bodenstedt owns hundreds of Wendy’s, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut franchises. MUY (HQ is in San Antonio) is one of the largest private restaurant employers in the US.
Of the basic burger chains, I have always preferred Wendy’s, both for the food and its reluctance to follow the lockstep corporate liberals. Dave Thomas was a big supporter of adoption. And they make a good burger.

Pssst! Fox? Did you notice the word “Franchise” in the headline? That means it wasn’t Wendy’s, the corporation. And if the guy is making a private donation and he owns a bunch of food franchises across multiple brands — that’s his “political speech” and really nobody’s business. But if people want to hurt some other Wendy’s franchisee they are most likely going to because of your stupid article.
