How can a former federal prosecutor be so wrong on points of law?

In 1967, Detroit, President Johnson sent in the Armys 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions. The result was 43 dead, 1,189 injured, over 7,200 arrests, and more than 2,000 buildings destroyed.

My brother was one of them, an MP. He manned a .50 cal, they used recoilless rifles also. They free fired at will.
i was 9 years old at the time...that was a true riot..snipers...running gun battles. Airborne raked apartment buildings with 50 cal to kill snipers. Whats happening now is rioting..but half are white teen age girls...this all could have been stopped night one... but the 60’s riots...thats is how to handle this.
Husband and I were stationed at Ft,Riley, they were waiting for orders to deploy to Viet Nam, 17 AHC whole unit went with our Ships.
Few things more satisfying than a 90mm recoilless with an APERS round!! Used to have lots of flechettes from those in my ruck. Shooting those was the only reward for humping them through the woods.
