I really don’t see 1st degree murder, given what we know, but man, oh man there’s some depraved indifference.

I know what you mean. Heard Rudy Giuliani describe his case for 1st degree this afternoon. fwiw--Rudy said it became premeditated as the minutes ticked by and the deceased's pleas for help were ignored.
