Every day, in every city, unconscious people are given naloxone because of widespread Fentanyl overdose. First responders routinely carry naloxone due to the high risk of Fentanyl overdose. In the days before Fentanyl was so prevalent, there were fewer overdoses on opioids (heroin, morphine), and naloxone was typically given in the Emergency Room. Fentanyl is about 50 times more potent than heroin, and 80x more potent than morphine.

fyi--Minneapolis PD began carrying naloxone in their medical bags back in 2018.

He died from a heart attack, not a fentanyl overdose.

OK, but you asked a question earlier along the lines of ‘why didn’t the officers give him Naloxone at the scene’. I was asking how the officers could have known he had taken Fentanyl.
