Oh, I'm well aware of it - I was in high school then, doesn't mean I agree with it. These are state issues, that need to be dealt with at the state level, just like the covid business needed to be dealt with at the state level.

DC has National Guard. I believe their Air Guard was the one that had the dubious distinction of launching F-16s (unarmed) in response to the 9/11 threat on DC and would have been ordered to take down the jet headed to DC that ultimately crashed in PA.
