Just in ... 82nd to be deployed to DC tonight. This is more than MPs. A family member of mine will be on the line.
?
Sorry, what?
Been there? I have, three times. First time, my company was out 322 says of combat operations, accomplished our missions and brought everyone home (damaged, but alive). Second trip, same type of record. Operated successfully with both Guard and Active, and these kids are different, but far better than you make them out to be.

10 U.S. Code § 252.Use of militia and armed forces to enforce Federal authority
Whenever the President considers that unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion against the authority of the United States, make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any State by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings, he may call into Federal service such of the militia of any State, and use such of the armed forces, as he considers necessary to enforce those laws or to suppress the rebellion.

I was assigned to a transportation unit at Ft. Meade in 63-64. We prepared to transport soldiers from the 3rd Cav to D.C. and made a couple of recons to select offloading points. Trucks had top bows up with canvas rolled for ventilation and observation. Chicken wire was fastened on the sides to protect troops from larger projectiles. Left for RVN in 65 but never deployed to D.C.
Not to worry. They were likely ordered to leave their weapons in the arms room at Ft Bragg.
Yup. Looters should be shot. Once theyre laid out in the dirt, others might think twice... hopefully.
“US Troops moving on domestic issues? Or does this become legal if inssurection is declared?”
Oh, you mean like integrating schools?
“No question the issue of posse comitatus was resolved in preparation for this Presidential order”
DC is a military district.
I totally agree. Maybe then we will resume being a nation of law and order. One hundred years ago we would not have put up with the crap going on today.
Lot of teens there.
Gitmo has limited capacity and is designed for foreign enemy combatants who have no legal rights under the Constitution.
Well, these civilians ARE the enemy. Since they look and act like ISIS, whats the problem? (snicker)
A bunch of Blackhawk and chinooks helicopter just flew over my house headed to Raleigh.
Yes... and so...? Audi Murphy was 16 years old when he enlisted.
So you promote shooting teen looters in the head.?
I hope the silly boldness of the rioters isn’t based on knowledge of foreign reinforcements waiting in the wings.
Do you promote killing old people with Bricks, baseball bats and machetes? Actions have consequences.
From Ft. Bragg?
“So you promote shooting teen looters in the head.?”
People are going to get sick of the $hit REALLY fast.
These anarchists just want to kill and destroy. They need to be stopped very hard. No we don’t want to shoot teenagers in the head.
But we also can’t let savages from within cause havoc after 3 months of severe economic havoc.
The anarchists simply just want to destroy our country.
Links.For teens.
