Something that should be added is that looting and such are NOT going on in only large cities. There are many reports out there from towns of, say, 20k or 30k people, even when those towns are located in generally rural areas. In many instances, my impression is that LEO leadership, city leadership, and even business owners and managers were asleep at the wheel until damage was already done.

Anyone pick up on the subtext of this speech? Interesting to reflect on specific diction in combination with visual rhetoric. Beginning, “crime against God”; middle, “one law, one beautiful law”; end, holding the Bible in front of a church. Pretty sure, at least sub-textually, our President just Declared war on Satan...just saying!

They hearded them out of the way so they could get home before 7pm curfew and so the president could walk to the church

cnn is so mad, had a banner for over 1/2 hour saying Heavily armed police used tear gas and rubber bullets to clear the way for Trump photo op.
