This is a hill to die on. It needs to be communicated to Congress so that they know.

Germany being forced to pay reparations was one of the factors that helped Hitler come to power. Be careful what you wish for...

I’m in.
Since the Democrat party is the party of slavery, the KKK, Jim Crow, Segregation, abortion & ANTIFA. I propose that they be deemed a terrorist organization and all of their assets seized and liquidated to pay said reparations. This will include all personal assets of their elected officials, employees and financiers.

Mr. BET founder.
Forget it. We already paid it. It’s called the Civil War.
I don’t owe you a damn thing!

I’ve read that lottery winners frequently find themselves back in their original financial condition or worse because they are not focused or used to handling and managing large amounts of money.
If the culture doesn’t change, no amount of money will ever be enough.

Johnson’s war on poverty started in 1965, the same year as Kennedy’s assault on rational immigration. Blacks are still just as bad off after all these years. They have proven that reparations/redistributionism will not help them in the long run.

African slaves contributed very little to the American economy, far less than Chinese railroad workers or German and other European immigrants in our factories.
Also if they want to blame a group, why not the Muslims who invented the entire slave trade, and who STILL do so today?

Wow, I like Kipling but have never read Dane-Geld. How insightful of him.

[Germany being forced to pay reparations was one of the factors that helped Hitler come to power. Be careful what you wish for...]
That’s a myth. These reparations were smaller, relative to the size of their respective economies, than those demanded of France in 1871, the first Versailles. Read up on the Franco-Prussian War. Keynes ginned up a whole industry around blaming the West for German territorial ambitions. Nothing wrong with ambition, given that all countries everywhere favored territorial expansion in that era, but blaming the West for German ambition was just off the wall.

BET founder sez...
...Now is the time to go big to keep America from dividing into two...
BET.. founder.. big.. two..
You just know this guy has absolutely no idea what he's saying, telegraphing/prophesying about going back to the beginning, of restoring the real natural order of the universe.
Johnson, 74 made history as America's first black billionaire when he sold BET to Viacom in 2001. Shortly after the sale, he started the investment firm The RLJ Cos. He's no longer on the Forbes billionaires list.
Where did it all go? It's never enough anyway, got to shake out every cracker crumb.

And since slavery was only south of the M-D line, make the payment in old Confederate currency.
