comic book and sf conventions weren’t this way for 50 years. Fandom focused on other things. But in the last 10+ years they’ve become rallies for Alphabet people and old white males are reviled at awards ceremonies and panels. The older guests and attendees are confronted and insulted.
I have a very large science fiction book collection—almost all of it in the pre-Obozo era.
Most of it is so politically incorrect that snowflakes would immediately melt if they came into contact with it.
Current science fiction is best understood as comedy—ya know, Africa leading a new technological revolution, stuff like that... ;-)
Blyly has got to be old enough now that him personally defending his highly combustible merchandise was unrealistic. Confiscate all the wealth (Soros, etc.) behind the rioters and use that towards reimbursing their victims.
