Also, some bricks and concrete blocks are smashed into smaller, more grippable projectiles. I saw this first hand in the MayDay riots in DC in 1971. Ask former Chief Jerry Wilson about that big scar on his head and how he got it.
I was grazed by a 4-5 lb round quart stone that the Maoists were throwing at the DC police. Seems like old times, doesn’t it?

When I was young I remember the Berkley KA riots.
They burned a Jaguar dealership among other atrocities.
I always thought that looting was supposed to warrant immediate use of deadly force.
But now it seems we get riots and looting every couple of years and no one is punished, or only very lightly.
And for less and less alleged justification.
Recall that only a few years ago they rioted and looted in Oakland when their team WON!
So clearly rioting is not really based on outrage, it can be celebration.
It’s very apparent the current spree is clearly NOT about a black guy that died in custody, there are other motives.
