A deer rifle makes for a pretty good sniper rifle. Sure, purpose built sniper equipment takes it up a few notches. But still, your average scoped deer rifle in the hands of someone who knows what they’re doing can reach out hundreds of yards. This is a good thing. From a tactical standpoint you want to be engaging the rioters on the next block, when they can’t even tell where the rounds are coming from.
