Excellent book. Expands beyond the well known child development work of Erickson & Piaget to demonstrate the phases of the development of Evil people, who Peck calls, “The People of the Lie.”

Peck points out that most evil people are lazy, noting that Hitler as an example of a truly evil person who was NOT lazy, since he was driven to accomplish so much evil on such a massive scale.
