“The missing evidence for this case is the body cam from inside the car with audio. That video will be key.” “

Wrong. Everything that precedes the event of a restrained person passes out is irrelevant.

At that point the legal and moral obligation is to suspend the active restraints and attend to the persons medical needs.

Watch the guy die. Remember, there are two more cops on him. This was not negligence.

“Third-Degree: How do you prove the police officer had a depraved heart or mind crime? If there is a piece of evidence he has a depraved heart or mind crime, then show it in court. “

From your. link on 3rd degree murder.

Murder is charged when a person is killed and the defendant has an indifference to the sanctity of human life.

Most of his cam will only show the bystanders.

One of the videos show him watching what was going on inside the car, hoping it adds a clear view period of the car backseat.

Did you see any other body cams on the other officers that went inside of the car? I will have to go back in look.

According to the EMTs, he was unresponsive and had no pulse when they arrived. Despite that, they went through the motions of trying to save him, bringing him to the hospital, until they gave up and officially pronounced him dead. It's not uncommon for a person to be declared dead only at the hospital, even if it was clear he was dead before.
"By the time George Floyd was en route to the hospital Monday evening, he was unresponsive and without a pulse. But for nearly an hour, first responders and ER staff refused to give up on the 46-year-old St. Louis Park man in their care.

“He still had an outside chance,” said Hennepin Healthcare EMS Chief Marty Scheerer. “Even if it’s a super long shot, you’ve got to try your best.”

But 90 minutes after his initial encounter with Minneapolis police, Floyd was pronounced dead at HCMC.--George Floyd showed no signs of life from time EMS arrived, fire department report says

Not sure if the prosecutor can show indifference. That is a high fence to climb. The prosecutor could attempt to get one of the officer to testify again the others.

How do you prove this person is not disturbed/indifference by the fact he kill a man. He is on suicided watch now. Maybe he is upset about killing a man ( or some would state upset he is facing prison time).

Post 444: Watch the guy die for who knows how many times now is not going to change my mind on the current laws and policy that effect the outcome of the case. I have watch the video at least 30 different times, and look for other angles of the video.

Post:443: The prosecutor has to prove it is not negligence. Yes they failed in their legal / moral obligations: again the prosecutor has to prove it is not negligence.

I really like to believe cops don’t go to work everyday wanting to kill a black man. They do not plan on or enjoy killing people. The last thing a police officer wants to do is to accidently kill someone because of all the investigations and mob rule society. If the prosecutor can prove third degree then it is third degree.

I will accept what the court rules, that is how our justice system works. I am not going to burn down a city because they are found guilty like the haters will do if he found innocence.

“The case has to go to trial, that is why we have a justice system. A person is innocent until proving guilty. We are not a mob rule society.”

“According to the EMTs, he was unresponsive and had no pulse when they arrived.”

The two observed were from the MFD. Ambulance medic apparently never got out to tend to the his needs.

MFD personal checked his pulse, casually prepared the stretcher all the while the cop still was kneeing him.

Cops called in as a mouth injury. No one seemed concerned that they found a dead guy.

He’d still be alive if he had just handed the cigarettes back and accepted the loss of the counterfeit $20.

You might have too, there is a disconnect somewhere.

You stated most of his video shows bystanders, which I know from watching videos. But there is a video where he is looking into the backseat of the car while they are trying to secure him. The guy gets pass the police officer crawling out the other side of the car. You will see where Chauvin runs to the other side then return to close the door on the sidewalk side of the car.

From your response I am not sure if you are aware of that video.

New video appears to show George Floyd struggling in the backseat of a police cruiser

“Not sure if the prosecutor can show indifference. “

The cop was indifferent to the fact the guy passed out and had no pulse. Kept the knee pressure on.

Only called the medics for a mouth injury.

This is worse than indifference.

I was thinking this was not allow US wide also, but I found out different after some research. It is still allow in some parts of the US. Also have law enforcement friends thinking it was not allow US wide.

It is up to each state and local government of what is allow. Minneapolis gets sue I bet a low of places will be reviewing policies.

Most Minnesota law enforcement agencies ban the neck-pinning maneuver used against George Floyd — but it's still allowed in Minneapolis

Cardiac arrest means no heartbeat.
From the Probable cause statement for the arrest of the policeman for third degree murder and for manslaughter:

BWC video shows Mr. Floyd continue to move and breathe. At 8:24:24, Mr. Floyd stopped moving. At
2
27-CR-20-12646 Filed in District Court
State of Minnesota
5/29/2020
8:25:31 the video appears to show Mr. Floyd ceasing to breathe or speak. Lane said, “want to roll him on
his side.” Kueng checked Mr. Floyd’s right wrist for a pulse and said, “I couldn’t find one.” None of the
officers moved from their positions.
At 8:27:24, the defendant removed his knee from Mr. Floyd’s neck. An ambulance and emergency medical
personnel arrived, the officers placed Mr. Floyd on a gurney, and the ambulance left the scene. Mr. Floyd
was pronounced dead at Hennepin County Medical Center.

Contradicts the living hell out of your “he did not die at the scene”.
Cardiac arrest generally means “Brain dead within 4 minutes.”

It takes more than 4 minutes to load him onto a gurney and drive from where the arrest was, to HCMC.
(Even being generous and not counting the time he was on the ground after the one officer said there was no pulse.)

Why are there so many trolls on these threads spreading easily refuted statements?

Good argument, if you add to it a witness pointed out the officer error and demanded the officer check the pulse.

That will most likely be presented in court. Who called EMT? The jury will be considering all of the evidence.

When did they call and who call for a mouth injury?
Was that call before the knee on the neck or after?

Those will be the questions in court for the jury to hear. As a common person not seeing the incident though a distorted lens (newspaper / news sites) I can not state is indifference or not indifference.

That is for a Jury in a a court room to decide, the only thing we have to develop an opinion on now is a bunch of news bit with agendas behind it.

Let’s the justice system decide.
