I believe the state of NY has decreed that no one except law enforcement needs more than 10 rounds. Originally, it was just 7 because, well, just because. Because so many pistols have 10-round magazines available, it was ruled ok to use them, but only with 7 rounds.

On a side note, do you think the shop owner and his wife will be eagerly voting for Joe this fall?
