American history in the making, as the USA now in first place in space. First launch from American soil in 9 years, first ever from a commercially built spacecraft.

Thanks to the power of the private sector and the support of President Trump.

NASA is back....ska-rew the filthy muzzards.

Allow me to do some “bragging”. Sort of.

I once worked for NASA. Well it’s was a gubmint contractor for NASA. It was at a NASA facility named, at that time, STIF...for “Science Technical and Information Facility”.
It was located at Fort Meade, Maryland.

Man what a story that is. I will summarize by stating that I did the worst job that I ever did anywhere in my life but it really was a great job.

The facility was where NASA kept all of its....well I guess you could call them “space souvenirs”.

One of its more famous keepsakes was an actual mock up of an astronaut with complete uniform. Visitors (open house couple nights a year) and people could actually slip into the space suit.

There it is....my claim to fame.

Had an office as big as half my house surrounded by windows.

Ajhhhhh, those were the days.

Now NASA is back to fame again.
