Yeah - I’m on the fence. Letting the Liberal City Officials deal with this might be the best bet. I’m sure Trump is greatly pondering whether he wants to get involved. Maybe he wants to be ‘asked’ before sending troops.
I think he’s smartly sitting this one out. Just my opinion, could be wrong, but I think the mayors and media would love Trump to step in so they can say “ORANGE MAN IS CAUSING THE COPS TO BE RACIST” or...something. Their usual spiel. Right now, the spotlight is on the mayors—which is good. Force them to confront their own mess.
