She’s got a new job that, thank God, will be getting her our soon, but not soon enough.

I live in the heart of L.A. and was a small child during the riots of 92 (albeit in the suburbs at the time) — I wouldn’t have been aware that there were protests going on yesterday without FR or my friend in Atlanta telling me while watching TV. Clearly this is not 1992 level chaos.
I don’t want anyone getting hurt, but find it kind of refreshing that Covid aka the Virus Idol has been pushed out of the headlines and that at least some of the protest spirit has to do with the lockdown angst and citizens being fed up with authority overreach in general. I personally see this working against blue-state structures more than posing a threat to the order Trump is trying to achieve.
