I’m watching the local news and have seen nothing about fires in the immediate downtown area.
However, a large group has gathered at the Mpls Police 5th Precinct HQ in south Mpls, about two miles south of downtown.
They are setting dumpsters on fire, breaking into a convenience store and no joke, have broken into the Post Office and are removing packages.
There are two large group of a-holes blocking Interstate 35 at two places north and south of downtown.
There are a few fires flaring up in the North Side, a primarily black low income area.
There is no sight of the Mpls Police,the State Highway Patrol or the Natl Guard. There’s a rumor going around that Gov Walz has ordered the Guard pulled back - but I can’t verify that.
It is getting ugly. No one is obeying the curfew. The protestors/rioters are still at it and it looks like they may try to over-run the 5th Precinct HQ.
Wouldn’t Post Office rampaging bring in the Feds?
This is a Biden rally with Democrats doing typical Democrat activities. Elect more Democrats, and you’ll see more of these celebrations and rallies.
By the way, if black lives matter, then they ought to take out the Planned Parenthood locations and other abortuaries, where most black lives in America end even before a chance at birth.
Why would or should they obey the curfews if there are no consequences?

Twin Cities sorting stations are used for all mail coming into SW WI. Lots of people use Sure Post or some other combo of UPS, FedX and USPS for all mail order. Usually small stuff, but if you choose the cheaper option (and maybe Prime goes this way? IDK), it will go to Twin Cities for final routing.
Affects way more than just South Mpls.
