I’m not a San Jose native - in fact, I grew up in a smallish town in southern California called Imperial. While I was growing up I couldn’t wait to get out.
I’ve lived in San Jose since 1995, and prior to that I lived on the eastern edge of LA County for about five years (more specifically, I lived in Pomona and Diamond Bar). And after thirty years of city life, I’d like to move back to the sticks.
I escaped the Silicone Pit* back in ‘89.
If I had stayed I would either be wealthier than now, in prison, or dead.
Get away while you still can.
The bad happens very fast, there really is no preparing for it.
If you are “white” all laws must be followed, but for the ‘minority’ folk laws are just suggestions to be ignored with impunity.
