Saturday, sincere demonstrators were using water bottles to put out trash container fires. Sunday night water bottles were being thrown at police and trash containers were being burned a lot more.
That's great, however other "protesters" on Friday night across from the White House were hurling full water bottles and BRICKS at WH Secret Service agents and police. Plus Leland Vittert and his Fox News crew were nearly attacked by an angry mob, and were run out of the area... pretty much fearing for their lives.
The Fox News cameraman - first name Christian - had been embedded with troops in Iraq and Afghanistan years ago. He said Friday night's experience in front of the White House was particularly harrowing because he and his FNC crew just had NO protection around them at all - no military, no medical units, as in a war zone. They were defenseless out there with an angry mob, out for blood against Fox News.
