Agree, it is a choice. I’m 78 ... I’ve been convinced from the beginning that most of this was “hoopla”. And having a cloth mask stop a virus is like trying to stop a bumble with a wooden fence. It is about “size” ... the mesh in a cloth mask is an open door to the relative size of a virus particle. HOWEVER ... I wear a mask when I’m out. Why? To remind others to keep their distance. I’m not wearing it because I’m “told” to ... but I am using it as a signal to other people that I won’t be doing a lot of hugging.
Wrong. The particles emitted by human sneezing, coughng, or breathing are WATER DROPS, not free virus particles, and hence readily stopped by masks. You will NEVER have a free-floating bare virus particle in the air, because even after the water evaporates, the salt, protein and other human bioparticles will still cover the virus particle.
