I just read the Dec 29th transcript and it is a ‘nothing burger’ as those who previously read the transcript have said.
What I want to see now is the FBI’s summary of the Dec 29th transcript that they discussed with Obama.

From the Fox link, it looks like Flynn asked Russia to let cooler heads prevail and not let Obama's team get the Trump administration boxed into tit-for-tat escalation before they come in so USA & Russia could focus on a common threat in the middle east.

My favorite comment from the Russian ambassador was in reference to not escalating after Obama kicked out the 30 some Russians.
It was, paraphrasing, we know that it was out of disappointment with the loss in the election and "very deplorable"
There was nothing there to have put a three star through hell!

Flynn’s real “crime” was that he wanted to coordinate with Russia to bring stability back to the Middle East.
That did not sit well with the neo-liberal cabal in Washington.
