If I was a juror and only had that famous video as evidence I'd vote guilty of some kind of negligence charge...."negligent homicide" for example...but nothing more than that.

However,I don't know if there's audio that goes along with the video. If so I haven't heard it.But if there was audio of this incident and it was anything like "I'm gonna teach this punk a lesson" then I'd vote guilty on something more serious than "negligent homicide".

I’m sure you mean that absent any information to the contrary. That is why the justice system is supposed to be slow, though we want it to be fast. We do not know all the facts in the case. Does it look horrible? Absolutely...but the police officer is innocent until proven guilty and he needs to have his day in court. I am very concerned that the “need” to rush on this may jeopardize the case...moving too fast can cause mistakes that may make a guilty man walk free, or incriminate an innocent man. If the locals want to burn the town down because they think it should be faster, that’s the locals problems...let them do something about it, or not...it’s their town...and the voters that vote for that type government get what they voted for. This needs to be done right...not for optics, and not for politics.
